How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF. Drop it on the zone above. The tool reads it locally and shows you every page as a numbered chip.
  2. Click the pages to remove. Each clicked page turns red and struck-through. The "Keep / Delete" counter updates live as you select.
  3. Download the cleaned PDF. Press "Delete selected pages" and the new file — everything you kept, in the original order — downloads instantly, named after your original file plus "-pages-removed".

Is deleting pages online safe?

With most online PDF tools, yes, there is a real concern: your file gets uploaded to their server, processed somewhere else, and you have to trust them to delete it afterwards. Contracts, medical records, bank statements and IDs pass through a stranger's machine — their privacy policy is the only thing standing between your document and everyone else.

Here it works differently: the pages are removed 100% inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing sitting on a server waiting to be "deleted" — nothing was ever sent in the first place. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works. That is privacy by architecture, not by promise.

What happens to the rest of your PDF?

Honesty first, because this is where online tools usually stay vague:

Why this tool

⚡ Fast

Pages are removed in milliseconds on your own device — no upload wait, no server queue, no "processing" spinner.

💻 No install

Runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. Nothing to download, nothing to update, nothing to grant admin rights to.

✨ Clean output

The downloaded PDF contains only the pages you kept — no watermarks, no cover page, no altered quality.

🔒 Privacy-first

Your file never leaves your device. GDPR-friendly by design: we never receive your data, so we cannot leak, store or sell it.

Delete Pages FAQ

Is deleting pages from a PDF really free?

Yes, completely. No sign-up, no watermarks, no page limits and no hidden premium tier — you can delete pages from as many PDFs as you like.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The pages are removed 100% inside your browser using JavaScript. Your file never leaves your device, so sensitive documents stay private by design.

What if I select all pages for deletion?

The tool blocks that: a PDF needs at least one page, so you must keep at least one page. The button simply will not run until you deselect a page.

Do hyperlinks and bookmarks survive page deletion?

Mostly yes — links embedded in the kept pages still work. But internal links or bookmarks that point to a removed page may break, because their target no longer exists.

Will my page numbers update automatically after deleting pages?

No. Page numbers baked into the document are part of the page content and do not renumber themselves. If you need clean numbering, run the file through our free Add Page Numbers tool after deleting.
